Pack 1 [April]
Healthy Living Diary
3 day diary entry of what a healthy lifestyle would look like.
It can be in the form of time stamped diary. For example:
8am. Wake up. A few stretches out of bed. Brush teeth to keep the gums and teeth healthy. Shower to clean skin.
8:30 am- Make healthy breakfast of 3 egg omelette with peppers to provide useful proteins and single glass of orange juice for vital vitamins.
Year 9 (Core)
Task 1 – 1000 word report on the ‘Benefits of Exercise on Physical and Mental Health’.
Task 2 – Plan a PE lesson. Must include a warm up, skill based activity and rule enforced game. Can select from following sports: Handball, football, basketball, netball and rugby.
Task 3 – Practice a EBI skill from flightpaths to improve.
Year 9 (Selected BTEC Sport)
Task 1 – PowerPoint presentation on the Components of Physical Fitness and Components of Skill Related Fitness.
Task 2 – PowerPoint the following training methods – Aerobic Endurance training, Muscular Strength, Speed Training and Flexibility Training.
Task 3 – Word document of at least 750 words on Fitness Testing Methods, including technique used to perform and research on National average results.
